Marc Buccellato-OTMT Founder
MARC BUCCELLATO B.S,CFSC, FMS, CPT
Marc Buccellato found fitness at a young age.
Being overweight as a child, Marc used hockey and fitness to help build confidence and a strong work ethic. Playing Junior A Hockey in Canada and Hockey for Rutgers University furthered that passion for fitness. After graduating, Marc took mentorships under some of the leading fitness entities in EXOS, Mike Boyle (MBSC),and Charles Poliquin headquarters.
Upon completing these mentorships Marc realized that he wanted to change people’s lives for the better and be his own boss. This is where the humble beginnings began from a garage in Queens, NY. Wanting to grow brought Marc to the realization that he needed to build the On The Marc Training™ concept. making fitness convenient and bringing the gym to you.
In 2013 the On The Marc Training™ vision began. Marc learned how to build and maintain relationships early on in his career, which has lead to success. Through hard work and determination over the years Marc and his team have found the tried and true processes for training excellence

Marc's "Guys"

This gives them the expertise in safe and effective training required, along withthe expeience of playing and performing at a high level of competition.

He has been a "hockey guy" since beginning to play back in the mid 80's. with over 30 years of playing, coaching, and management experience Kris is the perfect guy to see when you need help with hockey ...whether starting out, or involved in more competitive play.
Kris has played form clinics to travel to college to men's league and has coached for the Long Island Edge for over 20 years.

Kris' s "Guys"
We have coaches for specific skills relating to on ice hockey performance who can provide instruction for shooting, puck handling, and for developing the quickness needed compete successfully. Our staff has been selected based on experience, hockey knowledge, and interpersonal skills that keep players engaged and motivated.
If you are currently working with an "on ice" coach at the rink, consider supplementing that training with activity at the Annex...including shooting and stickhandling along with improving cognitive skills using Sense Arena. A perfect pairing, often at more convenient times of the day.

Some tips about training
01.
Be patient. Nothing is quick. It takes time to develop
The human body is am anzing creation. Proper excercise will strengthen your muscles and bones, rev up your metabolism, and give you a mental lift as well. Just remember that growth takes time...don't expect overnight miracles.
02.
Be consistent.
The body responds when training is comsistant Set up your program and schedule and just do it !. When programs are haphazard and unorganized, your body will have a harder time adapting and increase the time it will take to reach your goals.
03.
Form is more important than WEIGHT
Training - especially with weights-requires careful and proper attention to to form, Wrong form and too much weight results in decreased, rather than increased strength and creates increased opportiunity for stress and injury.
04.
You are what you eat and how you nourish your body
Your car can't rim without gas, and your body can't run without proper fuel either.
Beside needing energy to perform during excercise, the body needs proper building materials to build bone, muscle, and all the other parts of your body.
05.
Rest is almost as important as work
Training builds the body, but excessive training tears the body down. Get plenty of rest to go along with your excercise routine. Your body needs time to recover and grow.

Smile and enjoy what you are doing. Sure....it's hard, but it will be worth it
The value of training and good physical conditioning goes well beyond performing in an event. Continued attention to your body and diet increases self esteem, leads to a longer and healthier life, and encourages others around you to follow your lead.
